Calculating BMI

What is BMI (Body Mass Index) ?

BMI (Body Mass Index) is used to assess the body size of an adult (between 18 and 65 years old). It is calculated based on weight and size.

This index does not take into account the skeletal structure and the muscular mass, but does not apply to high level athletes, pregnant women or seriously ill people.
